 Bertozzi, Abruzzi lead Lucas winners in Bristol
(6-17-2013) BRISTOL, TN – Anthony Bertozzi picked up his 12th NHRA national event trophy with a big win over Dan Fletcher and Marco Abruzzi collected his 5th NHRA Wally in three weeks at this weekend's Ford NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals at Bristol Dragway.
Bertozzi, Ashland, Va., used a .009 second reaction time for a hole shot win in his '98 Grand Am running 9.172 at 141.97 to defeat Fletcher at 10.365, 121.55. The win was Bertozzi's eighth in Super Stock and 12th overall.

(6-17-2013) HARTSVILLE, SC – Robbie Matthews driving the Kauffman Motorsports ‘57 Chevy scored the win Saturday night at Darlington Dragway. The Kauffman Motorsports Team has now won the Sonny Greer Memorial event two years in a row.
"First I want to dedicate this race to Lucy Kauffman, Kip’s Mother. She passed away last week. We won this one for her. She will be missed," said Robbie Matthews.
"We had a very strong car all day," continued Matthews. "We had one hiccup and had to change a transmission but other than that we had a good night. All the guys on the crew really worked hard and the results showed."

(6-17-2013) ATCO, NJ – Fredy Scriba and team had their 6'3 Sorcerer Corvette Pro Mod tuned and ready for action with an impressive win at the Door Wars at Atco Dragway this past weekend.
Conditions were favorable for some fast ET’s and with beautiful weather Saturday and 18 teams prepared for qualifications after a two year absence from competing at Atco Dragway. Many of the teams struggled to get a handle on the track, but by the final qualifier many of the teams where ready for eliminations.

(6-16-2013) BRISTOL, TN – JEGS.com driver Troy Coughlin returned to the top of the NHRA Pro Mod points standings with a runner-up finish in the Ford Thunder Valley Nationals Sunday at Bristol Dragway.
Coughlin, the defending Pro Mod champion, fell to Rickie Smith in the final round but leads Smith by 10 points in the battle for the 2013 series championship.
